When the autumn began Anne went to school. The school was for Anne very nice before Gilbert Blythe came to school. Right from the word go Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe were rivals. There is a reason for that. Gilbert took one of Anne’s braids of red hair and calles Anne “Carrot! Carrot!” Thereupon Anne took her slate and bashed it over Gilberts head. Anne’s first mishap at her time on Green Gables was the first meeting with Mrs Rachel Lynde. The old woman said Anne was spindly and had hair – so red like carrots. In a row of that Anne built herself up in front of Mrs Lynde. With an angry red face Anne said to Mrs Lynde: “I hate you!” Anne screamed this sentence. Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, siblings who live together at Green Gables, a farm in Avonlea (fictional community located on Prince Edward Island, Canada), want to adopt a boy from an orphanage in Nova Scotia (canadian provinces on the Atlantic) as a helper on their farm. The novel “Anne of Green Gables” was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The novelist, always called “Maud” by family and friends, was born November 30, 1874 in Clifton, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She died April 24, 1942 in Toronto, Canada.

Von allen bisher vorgestellten Schriftstellern dürfte diese Dame die wohl Unbekannteste in der heutigen Zeit sein. Das liegt daran, dass sie schon 1942 gestorben war.

In einer Woche ist es soweit. Ich fiebere diesem Ereignis wie viele andere auch seit letztem Jahr schon entgegen! Endlich kommt der sechste Harry Potter Band in die deutschen Kinos.
